The name Admiral was chosen in honour of our founder's maternal grandfather, Leonard Admiral.
Leonard Admiral was a cabin boy in the Dutch Navy who arrived on a Tall Ship in Sydney Harbour during the early 1900's. The Admiral jumped ship to start a better life here in Australia after having witnessed at close range the tragic accidental death of his two friends during routine cannon practice while on board ship, during his long and grueling journey to Australia. Later, the Admiral met and married a lovely woman here in Australia and started building their new life and family together.
We strive to embody the pioneering spirit of the Admiral's courageous and determined streak into the very heart of the Admiral's team.
Admiral Solutions ® commenced trading as a Sole Trader on 9th October 2008 and later grew organically into a Proprietary Limited business on 24th September 2010. In its first two years of trading, Admiral was primarily focused on providing business consultancy to SME's. However, due to the growing demands of the ever-changing employment market, Admiral sharpened their focus to Revealing Top Talent™ within select industries, utlisiing our proven 'search and selection' recruitment techniques.
We are proud to have successfully carved a niche in the market with our Personalised HR™ approach which consistently achieves the all-important, yet often overlooked, 'ideal corporate culture fit' between both our clients and candidates.
In November, 2011, Admiral Solutions Pty Ltd (Admiral) successfully gained membership into the 'NPA', a worldwide recruiting network, which instantly provided recognition of our solid business reputation and professional standing within the industry and further supported the successful growth of our business on an international scale. Our NPA membership represents a select group of independent recruiters of the highest standard throughout the world - currently over 450 recruitment companies with close to 1,700 recruiters.
In January, 2012, Admiral Solutions Pty Ltd (Admiral) proudly joined the RCSA (Recruitment and Consulting Services Association) as a corporate member. As part of our affiliation with this highly recognised industry body the entire Admiral's team are committed to abiding by the ACCC authorised 'Code for Professional Conduct' which sets the highest standards for confidentiality and privacy, honest dealings, respect for work relationships, respect for law, respect for safety, respect for certainty of engagement, and professional knowledge.
By middle of 2012 the Admiral opened a Main Office in Chicago, USA to establish our local base in North America while we simultaneously opened a Regional Office in Melbourne, Australia to support our recruitment team and further grow our business along the East Coast of Australia.
In January, 2013, the Admiral converted its ATS / CRM system to the latest 'Salesforce' platform. Our significant investment in this level of technical sophistication provides new scaleability and efficiencies which further supports our global expansion and enhances our local capabilities and service levels for both our clients and candidates.
Throughout February, 2013, the Admiral launched three (3) social media platforms, all aimed at supporting the role of HR, industries and job functions within those areas of our recruitment expertise. First to be launched was our blog Admirals Post, followed shortly afterwards by our daily newspaper Admirals Watch, and then our monthly newsletter Admirals Compass. Each of these social media vehicles supports our ongoing commitment to provide insightful and useful information from the inside-track, including tips, leads, industry news and trends for all of our followers.
